Seems a modest thinner than the first carbon filter that came including my Honeywell air filter. Cuts straightforwardly. I leisurely the width of the main filter and folded this filter not effective and then cut along the line it left. Fits of laughter easy and seems to do the job! The only enhancement I may possibly recommend is maybe having inscription on the filter for common sizes so one star off.
