Sharknadoes might not be good for humankind, but theyre definitely good for ratings: 3.9 million viewers tuned in to Syfy Wednesday night to watch the premiere ofSharknado 2.
The first Sharknadoaired in July 2013 and brought in 1.4 million viewers for its premiere, with 570,000 of those watchingbelonging in the coveted 18-49 age bracket. ForSharknado 2s premiere, 1.8 million of the 3.9 millions viewers were in the 18-49 demo.
Because of these stellar ratings,Sharknado 2is now Syfys most watched original movie ever. The flickwill re-air on Syfy Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. ET and Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m. ET.
