All this did was make unremitting noise in the bathroom. The plug-in from the grocery store was far stuck-up.

I'm adding a point for superior service from Best Point Sales; otherwise, I would have agreed this a three.Best Point Sales got this piece to me faster than I expected, and they threw in two extra filters for emancipated. The piece was in perfect condition and even included the registration paper. I would most beyond doubt buy from this vendor again.However, I would not buy a further TrueAir odor remover. The appliance does remove odors, don't get me wrong. And it is compact, though it's only slightly smaller than its nearest competitor, the Febreze Odor Eliminator. The thing that puts the Febreze ahead of this model, though, is the fan. The TrueAir's fan is really loud. Distractingly so.If you're going to be plugging this into a room where noise is not an come forth, like for instance a unavailable garage, then this is a good buy. You also force want to deliberate it if the white noise is a bonus, like in a dorm room including thin walls. However, if you're plugging this into a room where you need quiet, I would recommend the Febreze model over this one.

I've owned this model for 7 years I'm guessing, and constantly clean the filter including my home air compressor. I be inflicted including purchased filters for it over the years on line, so I do from time to time change the filters out without using my air compressor, saves some money if you clean the filters yourself . However, my True Air is "dead silent". So be inflicted including no perception why these other reviews say it's loud unless they be inflicted including the hearing of my Vizsla. Great product and be inflicted including bought a further one as water supply and it too is very quiet. The True Air does a wonderful job of removing "those" unpleasent odors.

Works great at eliminating both odors and dust, but unreliable the carbon filters is a pain. Primarily since they don't sell them in equipment.

i'm not sure if it makes a difference or not...i have mine near the door where my cats litter box room is, as there is no plug outlet inside the room for approximately reason. well, i opened up the machine to see how the filter looked as i haven't replaced it since i got it, and its pretty dirty. so, thinking logically, it does make a difference, albeit small because of its small size. best in a small room though, thats for sure! don't expect it to be ultra powerful, its pretty small, duh.
