Nice. It went right into the underside of the machine.There are pre drilled holes and the kit came with a screw driver to put the screws in.It also comes with 5 washable pre filters.I would give it 5 stars but it was kinda spendy.It will save us a bunch of cash. Now we can clean the pre filters instead of those big exspensive filters inside the unit.I did change the underside filter and we had the smell of solvents as some others reported with new machines.It smelled to me like the styro foam the body of the filter is made from.Maybe they need to look at their material selection.

The coarse one that I removed was enclosed in fair sticky dust while the pre-filter was not too bad.As far the life of the pre-filter goes, I austerely break down the unit into believing that I have a new pre-filter the initially time the notification comes up. The following time it comes up, I chat the pre-filter. My current frequency has been to chat the coarse filter every 9-12 months (visual insepection) and the pre-filter at half the frequency.While I am not guaranteed the sort is worth all that money, it does keep the filters in place and so far the consequences have been outstanding.Also, note that it does display that the coarse filters can be washed manifold times before replacement is looked-for. Depends on what you find as you take the coarse filter out I estimate. I have always discarded them so far as I did not think I could possibly get the fair sticky dust off of them. I will taste once at some top and see if I can be more conservational.

I purchased this product a few days ago, and what arrived was not what was programmed online. This listing is for a "kit", there must be a frame that holds the filter, and three filters. The kit retails for $139, which is what, as of this writing (3/11/2013) this piece is programmed at.What I received was a box of five filters, which retails for $55. I assumed that the seller had an incorrect listing (not necessarily on purpose, but when I checked the other reviews for this product after getting the wrong piece, there was a 1 Star review stating the same thing had happened to that reviewer). So I returned the piece and I left a unenthusiastic 1 Star review.The next day I was contacted frankly by a man named Wayne on behalf of Zadoozy, the seller of this piece. I have to say I was very, very impressed by the level of Zadoozy customer service. It turns out that since Amazon is who fulfills the shipment, the mistake was made at the Amazon warehouse. Wayne was adamant that Zadoozy was a regard-driven, family-owned business and they wanted to do everything they could to make it aptly. He spoke briefly about the Amazon fulfillment process with me, explaining how it works, and how these mistakes can happen, and persuaded me that they take these reviews and their reputation very seriously. I am at this moment very appreciative of the way he handled the issue, and have not only removed my unenthusiastic review but am now writing this one to take its place. I am leaving this 5-Star review more for Wayne and Zadoozy than for the product (though when I did hear and open the box of five filters, they seemed every bit as high-quality as the surplus of the IQAir filters inside my current machine).In summation, as of the time of this writing I can not be sure if you order this piece from this listing you will get the aptly piece from Amazon, I imagine it will take a few days for them to try out their stock in the Amazon warehouse to be sure all of the products are labeled properly.
