You really can't go wrong if your looking to buy a quality carbon filter for your air cleaner, vacuum etc.. I've priced these filters numerous seats and this is the cheapest I've been able to find them (here on Amazon)!! I have a couple of air cleaners that every few months I replace the pre-filter and to buy the by now pre-cut filter that fits my contrivance expenditure more to buy one filter equate to export this generous cut that allows me to cut my own, save money and I get more (win-win for me :)!! Another business I did was cut a cut of this filter and placed one on each of my warmer vents (mandatory air/baffle grates) and I actually reconcile it's cut back on dust and also dirt and dust vacant down into my heating ducts!! Can't say enough about the price and quality!!

UPDATE 11/6/13:I superfluous a additional star to my rating. I reflect my initial depression was colored by the fact that my HEPA's were equipped to change. (Income in a woodsmoke-polluted locality shortens the life of all my filters significantly.) When I altered the HEPA's for this time of year, I was much more satisfied with the routine of these carbon filters. I would buy them again. Since I liked to change carbon filters each month, these are much more cost effective. I used to vacuum the expensive manufacturer's carbon filter to squeeze a link more weeks of life out of them and I'm glad I don't need to do that dusty task anymore.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Though the shipping was fast and the filter functions well as a unadorned pre-filter to extend the life of my HEPA, the odor filtration is not as good as my air cleaner manufacturer's carbon filter notes. The notes of this filter is slightly thinner and less stiff than the manufacturer's, though more finely woven, so I hoped that would mean the gathering was equal. But this filter is to some extent less effective when at the start installed, and seems to release stored odors if not altered within a month. The manufacturer's carbon filter didn't seem to do this, though I would use it for about 6 weeks before varying it.

This is a pre-filter for the Filter Queen Warden. What you get is a filter that will have to be graze to all fit save for there is sufficient for two changes, one every six months. Ordered and received it with no problems. The Warden is operating fair with the aid of this filter.

I bought the Honeywell filter at Lowes first - it was extremely watered-down, greatly extra so than the first filter including the intention of came including my Honeywell air filter element. So i went on Amazon and bought this one - MUCH better, it was thicker. Did not leak carbon particles as you cut it to fit. BUY THIS previous to you go purchasing the manufacturer one, its greatly better.

I'm using this in an old Alpine Aire unit. The unit had a thick carbon filter that was long past the top of being usable. It started to reduction apart as I was blowing it out so I bought this hoping it wouldn't be too 'dense' for the unit to suck air owing to. I used 3 layers of it sandwiched together in the first filter frame and it pulls air owing to it just fair. I ordered two of these and I probably have sufficient to rebuild this filter for several being to come.
